Vada pav














Vada pav is an Indian vegetarian fast food commonly eaten in Maharashtra, India, and is one of the most popular fast foods of Mumbai. It consists of a vada, served in a bun or roll . The vada is usually a potato-based patty.But Taste is realised only when eats it, however my foreigners compare vada with burger but it should be noted that vada tastes very different from burger.



























Ingredients:-



  1. 4 Boiled Potatoes

  2. 2 Cups besan

  3. 2 Garlic flakes

  4. 1 Ginger

  5. 2 Chopped onions

  6. 1 tsp Cumin seeds

  7. 1 tsp Turmeric powder

  8. 1 Cup coriander

  9. Salt to taste

  10. Oil for deep frying

  11. 5 Pav /Bun















How to make Vada Pav:




  1. Add turmeric powder, salt to besan and make a mixture.

  2. Add water to the mixture and make batter of medium consistency.

  3. Peel the potatoes and mash it by hand.

  4. Make a paste of garlic and ginger.

  5. Add garlic ginger paste,coriander to mashed potato.

  6. Make small balls of mashed potato mixture.

  7. Heat the oil.

  8. Dip each ball in the batter and fry the balls till they turn golden brown.

  9. Cut the pav keeping the base intact.

  10. Place the vada into it.

  11. Vada Paav is ready.
  12. Garnish it with coriander leaves and finely cut ted onions, serve it with chutney or ketchup.
